3D computer rendering of a wheelchair accessible bathroom for a client that has ALS. This bathroom was specifically designed to fit the needs of someone with a progressing mobility disorder. Although my client is still independent and has a slower progression this will still fit his needs even when he needs assisting. We have made the shower floor continuous so that there is no obstacles in his way, it is quite large to allow future caretakers to be able to assist with showering. There are grab bars through out the bathroom to assist with leaning and pulling himself up. The vanity sink is also at perfect wheelchair height to allow him to fit comfortably underneath when going to use it.
